It is so fascinating that so many creation myths across the world share a common theme: in the beginning, there was only water and darkness. It really makes you wonder how much our ancestors knew about the primordial earth by sheer instinct or maybe evolutionary memory. And even in this particular mythology, the Shastan tribe said that fish came first, which is totally accurate. It’s so interesting how people knew even without our advanced technology. It really makes you wonder what else is accurate that we maybe brush off as fiction.

Wow… the Old Man Above came down and created the world… and when the pale-face came, he went away. I assume that’s referring to white people. We literally drove away Creator and became Destroyer. That’s huge.
